HEART IN A TWIST.

The Swedish boy wonder Erik Hassle is at it again. Kicking off the year at the songwriting helm of a global smash for Shakira and Rihanna, he’s back this week with another solo stunner in “Pathetic”, picking up right where his incredible 2013 comeback single “Talk About It” left off. This time around he gets a production assist from SOHN – previously responsible for elevating Banks to dizzying heights on “Waiting Game” – and we get Erik at his most Pharrell, rolling out all manner of smoked-out falsettos over SOHN’s sunbathing synths. It’s a future classic slice of sun-kissed R&B that further cements yung Hassle as a superstar-on-the-rise, and it’s just another reason we fully believe that, at long last, 2014 is Erik’s year. Keep an eye out for Hassle’s Somebody’s Party EP out March 4th on TEN/RCA.
