NYC’s Skaters have ably thrashed their way from the sweat-soaked moshpits of FUZZ (#neverforget) into the national spotlight over the past 18 months, and new single “Miss Teen Massachusetts” is arguably their best offering to date, complete with the first perfect music video of 2014 (above). Enter former Massachusetts teen dreams, Magic Man, who weave gold into gold as they lend their silky remix touch to the Skaters original. Gone are the teen angst-ridden garage guitars, replaced by throwback disco synths, reverb-drenched vocals and unrelenting electronic percussion.
