We’ve been crushing on Tove Styrke since she first waltzed across our radar by way of the sparkling Familjen remix of 2010 single “Million Pieces”, but today marks her first proper introduction to the US with comeback single “Even If I’m Loud Doesn’t Mean I’m Talking To You”. The track’s a quantum leap for the Swedish songstress, as whiplash guitars and moonbounce synths cushion her pouty lip service and Tove channels a mix of MNDR and Sleigh Bells with a little Ting Tings thrown in for good measure. All bubblegum bombast and rebellious clamor, it’s out May 22nd on iTunes and Spotify and is ample proof that there’s more than enough room for two Toves in our life. Exclusive premiere below.
