We don’t hear much in the way of buzzbands from Minneapolis these days, but Step Rockets are about to change all that. The four-piece emerged earlier this year with indie-rock flamethrower, “Kisser”, and it’s endured as one of the year’s finest debuts and a track that feels like an alternative radio smash just waiting to happen. Today, they arrive with their neon aquarium music video debut, a fitting backdrop to the afflicted falsetto, graceful synths and roaring guitars that bring to mind the anthemic psychedelia of MGMT and ANR.
