We’ve gone on about Sydney rumble kids Jinja Safari quite a bit in these pages and hosted their US debut on New Shapes a few CMJs ago, and now co-frontman Pepa Knight has gone and launched a brand new solo project. Combining Avey Tare’s brand of Animal Collectivism with a touch of Local Natives thrown in for good measure, he’s perfected his own style of highly original tipi pop, inspired by his travels in India and other exotic locales.
