DON’T LET THEM WIN.

ARCHIS is a new west coast outfit that has well and truly swept us off our feet. A collaboration between frontwoman Dia Frampton and producer / composer Joseph Trapanese, the duo stepped out with empire-toppling debut single “Blood” last year and are readying their eponymous debut EP for release on Nettwerk next month. Featuring Frampton’s delicate-but-deadly vocals set to endlessly cinematic production from Trapanese – whose credits include work alongside Daft Punk and M83 (on the Tron and Oblivion soundtracks, respectively) – it’s a sordid affair of soft-spoken synths and orchestral flourishes that lay a perfect groundwork for Dia’s cherub pipes to swoop in for the kill. The ARCHIS EP is out February 23rd with the band’s *full orchestra* live debut that night at the Swinghouse in Los Angeles.
